There's a few new things going on in Silver Lake -- anyone tried them or know anything more about them?
A new wine shop was mentioned in the L.A. Times -- is it going to be in the Rockaway Records building on Glendale Blvd.? They didn't give a location but there's something going in there.
There's a lot of things I've dreamed of having nearby, but a chicken wings restaurant was actually not one of them. Nonetheless, Hot Wingzz has opened on Griffith Park Blvd. (where the farmer's market) is on Saturdays. Not much on the menu except -- hot wings. Anyone tried it? Next to it is Night and Day, a cute little coffee house, which seems to have sandwiches and such.
A new Thai/American place is opening on Virgil near Cha Cha Cha called Farmhouse Cafe. It looks cute, with outside tables and a patio like Senior Fish in Eagle Rock. Hmm... Thai and American...could it be?
