Silicone Easy Lid

Candy | Sep 8, 200609:47 PM     10

I was in Sur la Table with another CH poster and she pointed out these silicone lids. I bought one that is 10.5" diameter for $13.95. I plopped it on a bowl when I got home and wow, It sealed itself on there. No plastic wrap needed. I am impressed! It is heat proof up to 675F and can be used as a lid, trivet and a spatter guard. Next trip I'll get a smaller one and the larger one. Someone is going to get one in a Christmas gift too.

I also bought one of those Kuhn Rikon Corn Zippers. No more scraping with a knife and spattering the stuff all over. Farmer's Market in the AM and corn is on the shopping list. Maques Choux anyone?
