My wife and I are finally taking our honeymoon (after a delay of only a few years) and going to Sicily for 9 days. The plan is not see everything, but just to relax, to enjoy whatever we can in the time we have, and most importantly, to eat well. I've read previous posts by Chowhounders (special thanks to Elaine Snutteplutten for being so thorough) and have only a few questions. Does anyone have any recommendations in Siracusa? Also, as we hear the chow is not that great in Taormina and we will have a car, are there any places worth a quick drive from Taormina for dinner? Any seasonal recommendations for mid-March? And finally, we will be in Palermo for St. Joseph's Day (March 19). Any St. Joseph's Day table recommendations? Thanks as always.
