My birthday is coming up and since I'm not a big fan of cake (crazy, I know) I wanted to make a massive cinnamon roll-cake hybrid. I looked on google and found one recipe:
This was sort of my idea but it uses canned cinnamon rolls. I have nothing against those, but I would rather make my own since it's a special day. So I was wondering if it would work if I used this recipe:
and spiral it into a massive bun with a sticky caramel-pecan filling in the bottom of the pan. I want to flip over the pan after it is doe baking so the filling would end up on top like a sticky bun. My main concern is that the bread might not bake in the middle and turn into a sloppy mess.
I hope I wasn't to confusing! I tried to explain it as best I could so hopefully one of you guys could give me some advice. Thanks in advance! :)
