We were in Vancouver a few weeks ago and I wanted to make a brief mention of a couple of places we went to while there. We were on a budget and usually ate on the run, but did manage to fit in a couple of good places mentioned here on the board.
After a long day walking around Stanley Park, we decided to have lunch at the Fish House - we had a couple of orders of great Pad Thai, which was very fresh. Big portions, too. The setting was nice, except for the flies that were constantly buzzing around. Thankfully, they stayed near the ceiling for the most part.
Later that week, we made two visits to Thai Palace (I think that's the name; it's the one on Water Street). Everything was very good, but the standout for us was the excellent Thai curries - we had the vegetarian versions. Couldn't get enough of that! And the prices were very reasonable too.
So thanks to those who mentioned these two places in previous posts - they were worth the visits. Couple the great restaurants with all the attractions, and Vancouver's definitely a great place to visit.
