Short update on Sakurabana, and price at Clio's Uni

Sorry for posting two different messages in one topic.

My husband and I are always craving for good sushi, which is quite difficult to find in the Boston area.
So, we decided to try Sakurabana 2 weeks ago. The fish itself was quite fresh, but the sushi rice was very, very disappointing. It was dry and hard. We ended up eating a lot of sashimi instead of sushi. And, unbelievably, they ran out of uni. Another addition the unpleasant dining experience was the loud patrons sitting next to us at the sushi bar. Based on the sushi rice alone, we dont think we'll be coming back to Sakurabana. Probably we'll just stay with the usual Ginza and Oishii, and when we want something special, Sushi of Gari in NY.

We always have omakase when we go to Sushi of Gari, it usually costs us $80/person by the time we tell the sushi chef to stop. Does Uni at Clio offers omakase? How much does it cost? Do you really have to dress up? (Sushi of Gari has excellent sushi AND very relaxed atmosphere).

Thanks so so much!
