Short Mostly Santa Rosa Report

Just wanted to let everyone know what I ended up eating while in the Bay Area... Not much! Clearly I'll need to take another trip out there very soon. I spent most of my time in Santa Rosa. I stumbled upon NYPie Pizza, which was pretty good, though I thought the crust could use some work. I loved the owner there, though. He was great and very dedicated to pizza (as am I!). I also went to Rosso and loved it. Very tasty stuff. Had a ridiculous $7/5 spear asparagus dish, which was delicious but not *that* delicious. Then had margarita and uovo pizzas. Both super tasty. Great crust, good balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings.

The only meal I had in San Francisco was at a mediocre vietnamese place on Valencia. I didn't have internet access once I got to CA, so I couldn't check the board (luckily I remembered Rosso at least). So I'll be back out there soon and will do some serious eating then!

Thanks to everyone who replied to my original post. I will definitely check that list the next time I'm heading to the bay area.
