Short ribs and the Paolo Bea connection

Fall and the cool weather is here so we celebrated at home with braised short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes and chive carrots. The star of the meal was a 1999 Montefalco Rosso Riserva from Paolo Bea. Maybe the best food/wine pairing I've enjoyed all year.

Are there any other Paolo Bea fans out there?
