Hello! On a recent road trip to New Orleans, a friend and I stayed a night in Memphis. We ate at Blues City Cafe on Beale St. (We got in late and needed to eat close to the hotel.) We got ribs and tamales, both of which were pretty good.
The next morning we went to Bryant's BBQ Breadfast on the recommendation of a couple of people on this board. We each got a couple of Country Ham Bisquits. I have to say, as much as I adore ham, I couldn't even finish one of these because it was just too darn salty!!! Please educate this poor Northerner- is all "Country Ham" so salty? I noticed that they also had just regular old "ham". Would that have been different?
