Shepard from Rene Becker and Susan Regis is opening tomorrow, Sunday, June 7, after two friends and family nights. I was very happy with my meal and I am Instagramming photos from last night. I'll be posting photos sporadically because I'm on the road today. The menu is simple, well-priced, and I enjoyed getting to know Nick Mansur at the bar recently. It has a homey feel that's different from all recent fine dining openings. I feel it's a bit more relaxed. The pizzas will not be available until the regular menu shakes down a bit. I was very enamoured with my oysters topped with buttermilk ice. Big oysters, refreshing and cool.
