I posted this on a thread below, past the attention-expiration-date for the board. So let me re-ask: has anyone been to both Lake Spring and Green Village, the two restaurants I keep hearing about for Shanghainese? I've been to LS once - an off night, I suspect. I've heard things about GV stealing away Lake Spring's chefs, new owners at Lake Spring, some say it's fallen, other say it's close to it's former glory, etc. etc. Opinions?
