Hello all! I have a recipe calling for shad. I've been calling around and digging around online and haven't seen any options for getting my hands on some. I'd love to try this recipe, so does anyone know a place to order shad online or buy it in one of the big cities of Texas? I'm in Austin, but would gladly go to San Antonio, or even stop at a fish market my next time passing through Houston or Dallas. I've heard it's delicious, and would be delighted to try it, but are there any other fish that are pretty similar in case I can't find it? Thank you!!!
