SFV Sushi Bar

rjl | Dec 29, 2007 02:14 PM

Our favorite sushi bar in the west SFV (Kobe) has changed hands and is not nearly as good as it used to be. We are looking for a good replacement. We do not usually order rolls, so our main interest is in a place that serves good, fresh, basic sushi. We also enjoy variety, so in addition to appreciating a good selection we enjoy the opportunity to try some less common fish that the chef may have found. Just so it is fresh. Finally, we prefer a place that is run by Japanese, but we can live with any place as long as the quality is good and the fish is fresh. Reasonable prices is a big plus, of course. Oh, and did I mention we really want a place where the sushi is fresh. :)
