Starting Monday night I'll be in the Bay Area for a full 12 days for a business trip and seeing family over Christmas. While most of my Chinese dining will be confined to dim sum, Cooking Papa, and various places my relatives may take me, I had a few things I wanted to eat and see if yall could help me:
Macanese: I see from the SF Chinese 2.0 thread that there is Macanese food in the Bay at T 28 but...A) is it good? B) what Macanese specialties are there that I would never find at a HK style cafe/Cha Chaan Teng that I should order if I go?
Hot Pot: Any other hot pot places aside from Little Sheep? I assume there are but I was wondering as I didn't see any others in the 2.0 thread? Given the number of rainy days that are forecasted for my trip I'd figure a hot pot dinner would be nice.
Location can be anywhere in the Bay (aside from North Bay) as I'll be in Oakland, Berkeley, the city proper, Redwood City, and Fremont in various points of my trip.
Thanks in advance!
