Need an SF restaurant recommendation - Part Deux

anthony2816 | Mar 13, 200204:41 PM

Many thanks to all who responded...I read through all the posts. I think I'm going to go with Sam's Grill and Seafood for lunch, and Aziza for dinner.

I neglected to mention that my wife is Vietnamese, and the US Navy sent me to Japan for two years, so we're already pretty well versed in Asian cuisine. And living in central California, we have Mexican restaurants out the wazoo. But I think the above two choices should fit the bill nicely.

Oh, and Rachel, by "gay" restaurant, I merely meant one that is in a predominantly gay neighborhood, and/or is run by or frequented by gays. In the past, I've found that requests for SF restaurant recommendations have been a bit hampered by either avoiding the gay areas, or at least generated questions of whether it would bother me, so I simply put it up front that it wasn't an issue.
