SF Bay and Napa area Waitresses and Waiters: Please clone yourselves

and send your clones to Boston. We have just returned from 3 weeks of dining in the SF Bay ,Monterey , and Napa areas. Almost to a person, we enjoyed your friendly attitude, menu and food knowledge, smart understanding of how to coordinate with the kitchen and pace the food , and your overall ability to make us feel welcome and well cared for. We know you work amazingly hard for your meager wage and because you have been so great, we have been able to tip you the 20% or more- that reflects our great appreciation. On the very few occasions when one of you showed stress and no smile, we found that after a smile and compliment from us- about your nice haircut, or your eyes, or what a crazy busy evening you must be having, you relaxed a second and took great care of us.

While our fav. restaurants in the Boston area have excellent waitstaff, there are many many who would be happy to employ your clones. (we understand that you wouldn't want to leave california.)

If you work at any of these restaurants, we feel very lucky that you were our server, and we thank and salute you for helping make our food-obsessed California vacation so great!:
