I ate at sette last night and could not have been more disappointed. The food and wine were not good. That was the problem, well taht and my horrible glass of red wine - i poured water into it so I could drink it (I guess I could have just not drunk it-- but i had teh distinct feeling the place was a sham. So, it was me verses them)
I had teh sliced meat and cheese plate, with two weirdly grilled pieces of bread, they were warm and crusted in some places cold and spongy inothers but grill marks covering the whole two pieces. Also I would say the bread did not suit the meat- It was sourdough and too dense.
Moving on: for an additional 9$ I had the cheese addition and that consisted of 5 small slices of indistinct cheese that were sentless and placeless. It took me a moment o figure out that one was parmessan. That's fine if you charge 2$ but for 9$ It was conventionally A&P bought small wedges that took you no where and did nothing in your mouth except remind you of the refrigerator, even the parmessan, as I eventually placed it, came out of.
Moving on: the salad of Arugula and fenel was fine when I gut nite of fennell but hard to swallow the bitter lemon dressed arugula. The Margarita pizza had fine crust. It was good. What wasn't was the tomato sauce and the mozzerella.
The wine was bad and the pours were ungenerous with that silly wine line clause.
It's a rip off.
