Hi chowhounders! I'm on a mission to clean out the freezer for summer, which involves discovering a lot of forgotten treasures (and some scary ice monsters). Tonight's resurrected dinner is....homemade BC spot prawn bisque!
I was planning to serve the bisque with crusty garlic bread and a side salad for a light dinner. I'm a bit stuck on the salad option, and was wavering between these options:
1) Crispy romaine with sliced cherry tomatoes and green onions and a vinaigrette dressing, topped with shaved parmesan.
2) Baby spinach with sliced strawberries and blue cheese and a sweet balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Thoughts? Any other suggestions?
