does anywhere serve low-carb desserts?

Autumn | Aug 30, 2004 05:51 AM

Yes, I'll admit it, I'm on Atkins. I'm doing pretty well on it, trying to be more active, and etc. I eat my vegetables, take my vitamins, drink my water. I know there are a lot of people who don't feel this is healthy, but I'm not interested in debating that here, thanks.

That said, every once in a while, it would be nice to go somewhere that I could order dessert and not consider it 'cheating' on my diet. I've been told that Cheesecake Factory serves a lowcarb cheesecake, but is that my only option? I'm only interested in things sweetened with stevia or sucralose (Splenda) or possibly sugar alcohols (malitol, etc.), because I have strong averse reactions to other non-nutritive sweetners.

So... candies? cakes? ice creams? I can find a number of things in local stores and can make a fair ammount myself, I'm specifically looking for restaurants and cafes that serve these things. Thanks!
