Just tried Seongbukdong and it was excellent. Great and different banchan (Aobi leaves!). Spicy pork was good and so was the bean paste hot pot that went with it. Also tried the rice cake dish and it was different and good. Rice cakes were cooked in a kimchee broth and rice. A lot of subtle flavors were present in the food that I haven't had at other Korean restaurants around town. Also every table tonight ordered a spicy mackeral dish in a tin bowl and it seemed to be very good. Next time we'll have to try the mackeral!

The owner was also very attentive. She came by to make sure our meal was nothing but excellent. She gave all of her guests the same attention and anticipated our needs.

Seongbukdong is across from a Pinkberry so Pinkberry was the end to a perfect meal!

3303 W. 6th Street
Los Angeles, CA 90020
(Corner of 6th and Berendo across from the Pinkberry!)
