I'm a reporter with the Houston Press and I am looking into doing a story about queso fresco. I'm trying to find someone with connections to Mexico who has queso fresco made there (in the Mexican, unpasteurized fashion) and then sends it north of the border to be sold. Apparently, this is a rather significant industry. The story would follow the cheese, so to speak, from its birthplace in a mexican village to the plate. Everybody involved could be anonymous, if desired. Any leads?
