Secret restaurant at Disneyland

Chowland | Nov 16, 2003 03:27 PM

At a nice dinner the other night I heard for the first time that there is a wonderful restaurant at Disneyland where you need to be a member to get in. The seating of the restaurant is in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I've seen people sitting at tables there but always thought it was a restaurant open to the public.

If the details were correct you need an annual membership and then pay $50 / person to get into the restaurant. Free use of the park is included so it's a great deal assuming the food is good and you're a Disneyland fan. I also heard it's the only place in Disneyland that allows consumption of alcohol (besides the defunct tramway, but that's another story).

So is there a secret restaurant? How good is the food? What kind of food?
