Hi, heading to Seattle very shortly with my 6 year old, who has a healthy appetite and is a great eater. We like to head to excellent/trendy restaurants on the early side for dinner. Also, wondering where to have lunch/dinner at Pike Place Market and dinner on Sunday near either Safeco Field or our hotel in Lower Queen Anne.
To give you an idea of what sounds good from my research so far, Lark, Mbar and Shiro's are on our list, but not sure how to prioritize all of these (and we definitely won't make it to all of them). Lakehouse in Bellevue actually sounds amazing, but I don't think it will make sense to go that far, given that we have a limited amount of time and no car.
Basically, we have four nights and two of them will be Space Needle and I think something near Pike Place Market, and one of them is likely to be either Iconiq or Stateside, though my mind could be changed.
Also looking for lunch places near all the touristy spots -- Seattle Center, waterfront, etc.
We are spending a couple of days in Vancouver too and are definitely looking for ideas there as well. I haven't done a ton of research yet, but anywhere easily accessible from Yaletown without a car would be a possibility.
We generally avoid places that are mostly going to have hot/spicy food, and don't eat pork or red meat. Love seafood, though.
