So my friend booked a table at a popular eatery for 615... We were told 630 by her, and arrived in good time. The hostess was genuine and kind about our tardy. At about 8:55, we were told that the table booked after us had been waiting a little while, again very nicely, but my friend got an attitude after the fact and told us that she won't book there again. So two questions... What is expected of a busy restaurant on a Friday night as far as table times for 3 people? And secondly, is there a way to inform a restaurant that you would like a longer seating time without jeopardizing your reservation or causing trouble for them?
