Searching for Spicy Chinese Beef Noodle Soup and etc...

Looking for a good bowl of spicy beef noodle soup. Been to several places in Chinatown looking for spicy beef noodle soup but haven't had any luck. I think the problem is in the beef and the soup stock. Been to several places where the beef stock is too bland / too watery and the beef were not flavored (probably because they were not simmered long enough). My favorite beef noodle soups were in Taiwan (red chilis, dark soy sauce based soup, big pieces of lean and fatty beef and beef tendons). Found places in Flushing NY that were very similar. Any places in Boston?

The closest places so far has been Chung Shin Yuan in Newton (didn't think it was flavorful enough). Just came back from Noodle Alcove (great hand drawn noodles but stock was really mild/beef lacked flavor), Hong Kong Eatery (very basic). Any suggestions?

Also looking for Seafood Chow Mein (two side yellow-or burnt). Best places so far has been Hong Kong Eatery, any other suggestions?

BTW - when I was in Chinatown, noticed a lot of old chinese ladies carrying bright yellow grocery bags - they directed me to C-Mart (across the highway from the Pillars/Entrance to Chinatown). On the way I saw a dimsum place that was packed (don't have the name though, too many people piled outside). Has anyone gone there? Is C-Mart new? It looks like a really clean / modern version of Super 88. Great vegetables though, I think I may be visiting there more often.
