Searching for...spinach/feta pitas...help appreciated!

eriberri | Oct 19, 200601:00 PM     24

When I was growing up a favorite grocery store treat (Shaw's and Stop & Shop) were these pita bread "pizzas" that had spinach, feta and onion. They were kept near the deli, usually in with pita bread and rolls. They were sold fresh in plastic bags of two or three. They slowly disappeared over the years and I can't find them anywhere! We used to have every x-mas eve with our "apps for dinner" meal after church.

We used to get these in the Milton/Quincy area. At one time I thought they were made by a local Mediterranean bakery?

Any ideas?

TIA!
