My husband and I are heading to NO for three nights next weekend (sans children). Looking for three fabulous dinners as well as lunch recommendations.
Would be equally happy in a dive or someplace really polished.
Hotel concierge suggested August, Dante's and Jacques Imo's.
After reading recommendations below, should I pick Brigtsen's over JI? August seems to be getting good reviews. What about Dante's?
Also, what are the best picks for po boys and muffalatas?
Finally, any great gourmet markets to bring home some cajun/creole goodies back to NYC?
