In search of katsu curry -- Miami to West Palm

s.m. koppelman | Aug 2, 200307:20 PM

I can't take it anymore. I need a fix of katsu curry--the usual Japanese breaded pork or chicken filet, but served over rice and covered with a thick curry gravy and accompaned with a pile of chopped pickled radish. It's not rocket science. It's not classy. I don't care.

Yes, I know you can get katsu (from bad to good) without curry at dozens of places, and katsu don in quite a few of those. I don't want that. In this post, I don't care about sushi or tempura or shabu-shabu or handmade udon. I want katsu curry! Anywhere from the Palm Beaches to south Dade will do. Hell, if you know anyplace in the state that has it I'll take it, though it might be a while before I get there. Help!
