In search of Indian Ginger/Garlic Shrimp

I recently returned from Hyderabad, India and am in search of the best dish I ate while there. It was on the appetizer menu and it is a deep fried shrimp with lots of fresh ginger, garlic and red chili. Garnished with cilantro. Served dry. OMG fabulous! I live in Plano and work in downtown Dallas. There are a plethora of Indian restaurants, I have done an internet search and have been to a few restaurants in search of this dish but haven't found it. I tried Iravat Bistro but they serve it wet with gravy. I tried The Curry pot and it is close, but not quite the same dish. The shrimp was small and seemed previously frozen and cooked.

I found a recipe online that looks like it but have not tried it.

Here is a link to the pic/recipe. http://www.indian-tamil-recipe.com/gi...

Wondering if anyone can point me to a restaurant that serves this dish?
