In Search of a Good Breakfast Sandwich in Loop

As I head to and from work each weekday, I see what seems to be countless places offering cheap breakfast sandwiches. My favorite until it closed recently was a little place just off Clinton and Monroe called Magz. It was run by a very nice Mexican/TexMexican couple and had a very tasty and satisfying BOB (breakfast on a bun) with eggs, sausage and cheese for $3.50. I liked the sausage very much and the bread was a fresh, soft bun from S. Rosen. They also have a location on S. Clark south of Harrison but its too far out of my way.

I have not had any success finding a replacement to date so I'm often stuck with just a bagel and cream cheese as a default (which isn't bad perhaps every other day for health reasons). I typically follow an unpredictable route somewhere between Dearborn St. and Canal St. and Van Buren St. and Monroe St. Any favorites in this area?
