I work my days as a lawyer, working for myself, but am just in my first year working for myself, and sometimes, well.... the pay isn't steady. Feast or famine. My favorite seafood restaurant/market has an opening for someone to work in their seafood market. If I'm going to take a part time job to supplement income, I want to do something fun. And I can't think of anything more fun than that. (well except for cheese mongering).
I called ahead and they will take applications from people just wanting part time (sat/sun or nights) .
So my request to my beloved chowhounds.... I'm not fantastic on knowing my fish. Obviously I want to study up some more before I go in to apply tomorrow night.
Any Fish advice, tips, guides. Basically..... what do YOU look for in a seafood market person.
