I heard a recent rumor that the University of Texas alumni chapter in the Seattle area ships (FedEX) Salt Lick barbque from Austin, TX once a year... for an all-u-can-eat feast of brisket, ribs and sausage!
Can anyone verify this rumor? I'm an interested UT alum.
And is there good Texas barbque anywhere near Seattle?
And for those of you who don't know, Texas barbque is all about the brisket.
