I never would have known about Sea Salt if it weren't for the Twin Cities Chowhounds. I finally went today, in celebration of the warm weather.
It was great! I had the catfish po-boy, which I loved. The fried fish melted in my mouth - it wasn't the least bit greasy, and with additional hot sauce (quite a lot, I must admit), the sandwich goes into my top ten favorites. Mr. Tastebud had the fish basket, which again was nicely fried and featured beautifully fresh fish. Good coleslaw, too. I liked that it came with fruit instead of fries.
It didn't hurt that the dining entertainment was provided by dozens of costumed children - there was some sort of Halloween event going on all around us.
Sea Salt closes for the season tomorrow (10/30/05). I can't wait until they open again next spring!
