Sea Harbour Bitter Melon Dumpling?

Silverlake Bodhisattva | Dec 26, 200408:29 PM

Went to the Rosemead Sea Harbor for the first time on Saturday AM. Over-all , we thought it was good, but not as good as Ocean Star or NBC when they're at the top of their form.

I find I kind of like the adventure of the cart service, and its' certainly more entertaining for the 'Pup. Obvious, though that SH would need to sacrifice valuable seating space if they went to the cart mode. Thy opened at 10 on Saturday, and there was a line when they opened the door...)

My question: I ordered what was listed on the menu as a dumpling with "bitter melon"; what arrived was filled with a deep green puree that could have as easily been sweetened pureed spinach.

A.Did I get a gringo-ized version, or

B. is there so little bitter melon in these that you can no longer taste the quinine bitterness?
