Any suggestions for a classic Sunday brunch preferably in the Quarter?
After reviewing the recent posts here about great brunches, it appears the favored places all have contemporary menus. I.e. Green Goddess, Dante's Kitchen, and Cafe Atchafalaya. These kinds of restaurants mirror similar restaurants back home such as Starliner Diner, Crust, and Urban Skillet. As a result, they really don’t hold that much interest to me.
In the past, I have been to Brennan's and had a wonderful time. But to look at past reviews here and on Urbanspoon, you would think it was on par to Waffle House.
So, what are your suggestions for a good classic Sunday brunch for a couple who would like to enjoy a special meal you just can’t get back home.
