Savoia Ristorante - SF Marina

Has anyone eaten at Savoia on Chestnut near Divisadero? We had a couple of glasses of wine in the bar tonight after the movie at the Presidio (the restaurant is across the street). We were attracted by the warm, golden lighting and cozy European-looking design. We were way too full from a huge late lunch at Shanghai Dumpling Shop (Balboa & 34th) so we didn't eat anything but we were very impressed by the ambiance and service, which was so gracious and professional despite their being suddenly short-staffed because of the absence of an employee.

The menu is Italian and the wines are mostly a combination of Italian and California. The bar is spacious, with about five tables and counter service for at least a dozen. We will definitely go back for dinner.
