Saveur Magazine 100 -- one of the best food issues all year. This year, they posted about Roosevelt Avenue (Queens) being "the most diversely delicious street in New York City" (sic). The whole magazine is worth picking up, as it talks lovingly of Cataplanas, shrimp toast, patatas bravas, and cafe au lait and more. There's really something for everyone, and the bit on Queens is small but packed with favorites. My own best of 2002 trek to Jackson Heights is linked below.
