I had a really nice bottle of Sauternes that I opened awhile back (months... probably almost a year at this point) and then forgot about. I have half the bottle left and am not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions? It's been sitting in the refrigerator with a very basic wine stopper plugged into the top. Is this wine to cook with? Or is it past the point of no return? Would this make an OK vinegar??
