Looking for Sausages and Cookies in Ridgewood

I grew up in the 60s in Ridgewood, Queens, and we always got certain goodies for the Christmas holidays. My grandmother lived there until the early 80s, so we were always in town to pick stuff up, and even into the early 90s my mom would drive in and score cookies, pastries, hungarian bratwursts (dried and fresh) speck, blood sausages, landjager, etc. And since then we have relied on mail order deliveries to get our holiday fix.

The Hungarian butcher we used went out of business a few years ago, and we haven't successfully found a replacement. We also got cookies from Rudy's on Seneca Avenue, but their website is gone. Does anyone know if Rudy's is still around and if there are any remaining German-Hungarian butcher/sausage shops in the area...and will they ship.

Thanks and happy holidays to all
