I guess this would mainly be covering "asian" type of cusines, but last night I happened to watch "A Cook's Tour" on my Tivo where Anthony Bourdain went to Thailand (Chaing Mai) and he had a sudden craving for "roadside sausage"....today, while driving, I had the same craving. Ended up at The Loft at Lahaina in Manhattan Beach since I knew they had a portugese sausage served with rice (and with some eggs prepared over medium). It wasn't bad, albeit "homestyle". I've also had a good version of this combo sausage and rice at Thai Nakorn in Anaheim/Orange. Have a little vinegar and some chilipeppers...good stuff.
Any other recommendations where to get this combo...perhaps served with some spice/heat??
