Saturday lunches in Philadelphia

Bigley9 | Jan 21, 202012:11 PM     16

Hi folks! I live in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia and I have recently decided to take myself out to lunch on Saturdays when I am running my household errands. There are lots of places I want to go and haven't gotten to, or favorite places I don't get back to and I was getting into a rut with grabbing lunch at the RTM. So far I have gone to South Philly Barbacoa, Hardena, Rangoon, Merkaz, Mighty Melt and Pearls Oyster Bar (in the RTM, I wanted to go to The Oyster House but they were closed for the first two weeks of January and I needed oysters) So, my question of you is where should I not miss and why? Anywhere in Center City is fine, as is Queen Village, East Passyunk, South Philly, I guess No Libs - these are places I walk to/through for shopping at the RTM, RIttenhouse Farmers Market, and Primal Supply Meats. I try to keep prices low to moderate, I like all food, cuisines, someplace I can dine alone (generally not an issue at lunch), looking to explore. Mike's BBQ is on the list, but I might have to do that for dinner because that much meat while trying to get through Saturday tasks might not work : )

Hoping there are still enough people on this board to get some good ideas!
Thanks!
