My first time at this Salvadoran place. it used to be in Falls Church City and was quite popular. Years ago they moved into expanded new digs next to the Magruder's on Graham Rd.
Unfortunately they cooked their platanos in oil that had an unusual flat taste, a bit stinky. I'm not sure how this happened, but maybe someone else knows what the problem is. Wrong oil? Too old? Beans and rice are good. Carne deshilada was prepared with veggies which made for a wet lumpy version of this classic dish.
