Sara Moulton's 'Flavors of Tuscany' a tempting surprise...

While catching up on my food tv, I was pleasantly surprised by Sara Moulton's 'Flavors of Tuscany'. It was on her 'Sara's Weeknight Meals' series, episode 801, on PBS. There she is visiting a 16th Century Hunting Lodge, Villa Dianella, which was originally owned by the Medici family. She tours the exquisite expanse with the current owner, then goes to the kitchen to help Chef prepare Chianti Tortellini from scratch. Then they dine al fresco with rolling Tuscan hills in the background. What a lovely experience!
Meanwhile, the episode also visits Bethlehem, CT., home to Mother Noella Marcellino, a Benedictine nun who produces fine cheeses and is a noted expert in the field. They had an absorbing discussion about the art/science of cheese.
Catch it if you can...www.saramoulton.com
