Santa Fe Station in Lakewood

Had a decent meal today here on one of my many trips to the south coast plaza area. Its on lakewood blvd right past the Long Beach airport. Claims to server New Mexican food, but it wasn't that different from "gringo" mexican food I suppose. Assortment of Enchiladas, Burritos, and tacos, as well as some chicken and carne asada dishes. Didn't see sopapillas on the menu....maybe I just didn't see it.

Had a fairly good carne asada that was topped with a white cheese and jalapenos. Seemed to have been fire-grilled as far as I could taste. Took it with grilled veggies and some corn (cutting the carbs). The grilled veggies were very good though.

Overall, I thought it was "ok"...nothing spectacular, but worth checking out if you're in the area and jonsing for some tex-mex.
