Hello Out There,
I am doing research for my next documentary film. Here is the subject - SANDWICHES!!! This is not a joke. I recently had a documentary on Channel 13- PBS called "A Modern Hat Story" (part of the Reel New York Film Series). Well, enough of that...Now this is not a film about sandwich shops and their purveyors per se. Although I am definitely looking for places with character, my main subject is the people who eat the sandwiches. People who are "obsessed", you might say, with the old sandwich (i.e. people who have been regulars at some place for a while and like a nice sandwich). If you know of any places that I should begin my quest, or if you are indeed one of these people I described above please respond. Needless to say, since this is NYC, subjects can be of any race, creed, and sex (although I must admit I am partial to cranky old men). Look forward to your responses...
