Sandpiper (or something like that) in Fayetteville?

I recall hearing people wax poetic about some epic buffet in Fayetteville. I believe it is called The Sandpiper. I'm talking dyed in the wool, out of state foodies who make the trek whenever they're within 100 miles kind of rep. Line around the corner, the whole nine yards.

Is this true? What do they serve? I'm guessing old school Southern? BBQ? Fried Chicken?

I've got some friends from back home (SF Bay area) coming out in a few months and was wondering whether it would be worth a field trip to the sticks.
