San Juan restaurant review

Just thought I'd drop in to say thanks to all the Chowhounds who helped steer me to some good San Juan restaurants for my honeymoon.

Ate dinner the first night at Baru, and wow, what a great place. The ceviche was excellent, and the yuca mofongo and shrimp was to die for.

Lunch the next day was at the Parrot Club, which was a fine place for lunch. Wife had the Cuban sandwich, which was very good and very filling. I can't actually remember what I had.

Had dinner the second night at Pikayo, which was a little up-and-down, but the ups were great. I had the tasting menu, which was generally good. Wife had the lamb chops, which were unspectacular. Dessert was the chocolate souflee, which was absolutely exquisite.

Thank you again, to the chowhounds who helped.
