San Francisco Moon Cake Street Fair

Yimster | Sep 3, 200211:19 AM

On the weekend of Aug. 14 and 15 2002, there will be a San Francisco Harvest Moon Street Fair. It is normally from 10 AM to 6 PM each day. There are lots of vendors for food, herbs, dishes and etc. Many items are clearance item and are petty cheap. This will take place in San Francisco Chinatown with the major action on Grant Ave.

There will be lots and lots of Moon Cakes for sell. I recommend that you only purchase Moon Cakes made in the USA. Last year Moon Cakes from China mixed fresh fillings with fillings from the year before (which they had kept in freezers). At best the ones from China are eight to ten older that the locals ones. Moon Cakes like most other foods freshest counts.
