San Diego-Laurel-Downhill Alert

Made the grevious error of visiting this restaurant last week. Should have known the experience was going to be questionable when the valet parker collected his $6 in advance. Opted for the Prix Fixe which usually means a leisurely experience. Then had us in and out of the place in a flash (it wasn't very busy, and we did not look like street people either). Each course came one after another, even before we could fish our wine. Made the further error of opting for the premium wine parings which were dainty pours. The champagne was served in an tall 2 oz maybe cordial glass! Yet, when my wife re-ordered a glass after the salt fiasco, it came in a champagne flute. The piece de resistance was that my entre (both the tenderloin and the pommes anna) were saltly beyond human comprehension. The single worst restaurant experience of the last year.
