We'll be spending a week in August, two kids age 7-10, trying to teach them to behave and try different cuisines, but they're kids. They love Mexican and Chinese, my wife and I love seafood (is there great ceviche in SD?) but my son is allergic to fish, so places where we can find safe options for him are good. If he can get spaghetti he'll eat a mountain of it. My daughter's that way with crepes/blini. They'll both eat limitless pelmeni/dumplings. They'll eat Vietnamese. We tend to skip middle eastern food anywhere but home, because we've got the best Lebanese here. We love Russian, Armenian. Moroccan, anything new/different.
Juniper & Ivy sounds amazing, is it kid-friendly at all? I'd be happy to take one evening out for a nice romantic dinner/tasting menu with seafood, foie gras, sushi, etc without the kids if we can find a sitter.
